Be Seen, Be Safe
Visible Vintage Autos LLC has an exciting product for the Model A enthusiast.  We have developed a very distinctive looking Ford emblem that is a safety reflector. This emblem measures approximately 6x10 in. and is made with the same technology used on vehicle conspicuity material for commercial trailers and buses.  Our emblem is available with either adhesive backing for non-metallic surfaces (trunks, covers, etc) or flexible magnetic backing for ease of placement and removal on metal surfaces.

Are you looking for the nicest

late 1931 steel-top wide-bed pickup?

This pickup was originally built in late August or early September of 1931, and is an actual steel-top pickup with a wide bed.  It is painted French Gray over Seagull Gray (available after July 31) with a Vermillion pin stripe and wheels. The spare tire carrier under the bed of the truck provides security and convenience and it is locked with a trunk/rumble handle. It has a Waltham speedometer that currently shows 3650 miles since restoration so the engine and all related parts have just been nicely broken in. It feels like it should have in the spring of 1932.

The restoration of this wonderful example of a late Model ‘A’ pickup was completed by a Senior Judge for the Dallas World meet in 2008 where it won a second place in the touring class with 429 points out of a possible 500. And tour it did. That was a 2000-mile round trip. The following year with a few corrections, it scored 467 points in the touring class judging at the regional meet in Breckenridge, Colorado and won the MAFCA Award of Excellence. It was only 6 points away from the Best of Show.

There was no expense spared in the restoration of this fine Model ‘A’ Ford: a new 4-core radiator, a sealed leakless water pump, an aluminum two-blade fan, NOS “B” head, H&H “touring” engine, original side bowl carburetor, Aires muffler stock, clutch and transmission, a Dual-High overdrive, 3:78 differential gears. All new bearings and races throughout, cast iron drums with new shoes, all steering balls were rebuilt and the truck has the best steering you’ll find; comparable to the f-100 gearbox with original equipment. This truck runs out strong and smooth, accelerates well and shifts beautifully.

The pickup runs well enough to drive to the show, and looks good enough and is correct enough to win it when you get there. You can drive this truck on any road for any distance. It is smooth and comfortable at 55 to 60 mph!

This outstanding pickup is offered at $26,500.  More photos and details are available on request.
