Are you bringing kids to the
Children's Christmas party?
If so, be sure to let Jim Nielsen know how many will be coming. And don't
forget to bring a wrapped gift with each child's full name. (A big help to Santa!)
Turkey Trot Has Surprise Ending
Saturday, November 14, found us between two snowstorms, with just enough time to meet, greet, compete
and eat. After all, turkeys gobble and so do we. This competitive - but not too difficult - drive around southwest Denver challenged
us to complete five legs of a driving contest, only to discover that we had visited all but two of our club's meeting
places. What a great way to revisit yet another part of our 50-year history!
Mustangs and Model A's
If you're an honest-to-goodness Ford fan, you'll want to see this comparison between the 1931 Victoria
and the new 2010 Shelby Mustang. Bob Beers compiled the data. It's on the Tech Tips page.
Don't miss the Children's Christmas Party!
Turkey Trot winners Lois and Bob Beers were awarded the big bird by tour chairman Jay Binkley. Runners-up received a chicken, a Cornish game hen, and the opportunity to report on the tour in the December Quail.
