ABOUT THE HOSTING CHAPTER
The Model A Ford Club of Colorado was founded in 1959 and became affiliated with MAFCA as the Mile Hi Chapter in 1965. Our club is typically known for hosting the "High Country" Regional MAFCA meets in Breckenridge, Colorado. Most recently, our club hosted the 2016 MAFCA National Convention in Loveland, Colorado, and we are currently planning to host a "High Country" Regional MAFCA meet in June 2023.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF SEVERE AMS CAN BE SERIOUS. High altitude and lower air pressure can cause fluid to leak from capillaries. It can build up in the lungs and the brain. Remaining at altitude without proper treatment and acclimatization can potentially be life-threatening.
